hOLA!
i’m noeli,
and i am so happy you’re here.
My passion with food started at a very young age. I am Puerto Rican and grew up in a family where no matter what we were doing, food was most likely at the center of it. If you were finishing your breakfast, you were thinking about lunch, if you were cooking lunch, you were probably planning for dinner.
From watching cooking shows with my dad, to observing the women in my family make magic happen in the kitchen, I deeply believe that this career was meant to be. I have always been fascinated by the power of food, its ability to heal you, nourish you, and comfort you. For me, one of the biggest appeals of food is how it brings people together. That feeling when someone tries your cooking and loves it? Pure bliss. All of these things pushed me to follow my passion and go to culinary school and work in the kitchens of restaurants for years to come.
Amidst this deep love of cooking and eating, I have also had my fair share of ups and downs in my relationship with food. I spent a good chunk of my youth feeling uncomfortable in my own skin, in large part because I struggled with eating a balanced diet, taking care of my body, and just loving myself as I was. In my early 20s I started to commit to taking better care of me. But it wasn’t until a couple years later, and after being diagnosed with PCOS that I truly started incorporating daily practices that would support my mind, body, and spirit. I began caring more about the ingredients + the quality of food I was putting into my body and less about whatever numbers were on the scale. This is when I truly started feeling like my best and healthiest self. It’s in large part because of my story that I want to help others feel more confident when it comes to cooking real food. This hasn’t been a linear healing journey but I no longer live my life going back and fourth in states of deprivation or excess. I spend most days making food that fuels and even heals my body as well as our clients’. I still enjoy less nourishing foods, just in moderation. My love for growth, food, and showing others healthy alternatives to classic comforts are how this brand came to be.
